The other blog was part of a larger conversation of names - as indicated by the short conversation imported from MSN. Overall take home message from that blog was hyphenating is ridiculous from a social/literary perspective - leaving two options take the name or don't - I'm not the don't side of things, however that being said if I were referred to as Mrs. ___ I would not be offended.GF Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01151041405670719917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2582815928673200669.post-38212206364775956492007-11-05T10:24:00.000-08:002007-11-05T10:24:00.000-08:00As for the facebook comment in the attached post, ...As for the facebook comment in the attached post, I don't think they all actually hyphenate their names. They just include their maiden name for those people who only knew them before they were married. That way if somebody from say elementary school or highschool is searching for them under that name, they will still be able to find them in the search engine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2582815928673200669.post-68046692774767060562007-11-03T21:16:00.000-07:002007-11-03T21:16:00.000-07:00so I guess there it is two factors involved, but t...so I guess there it is two factors involved, but that's putting the cart miles ahead of the horse - I would have to find someone and I sure am not eliminating men on their last names now - considering the limiting factors of dietary practices, faith and political leaning have already made the picking nonexistent.

that being said, still like my last name, so more than likely nope...GF Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01151041405670719917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2582815928673200669.post-43048072856191108052007-11-03T21:13:00.000-07:002007-11-03T21:13:00.000-07:00I guess that would work, kind of attached to havin...I guess that would work, kind of attached to having a Mennonite last name though...GF Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01151041405670719917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2582815928673200669.post-70163495884959688982007-11-03T21:05:00.000-07:002007-11-03T21:05:00.000-07:00what if you met someone with a last name beginning...what if you met someone with a last name beginning with B?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
