I said I wouldn't but I have....

I’m going to try the 101 things again…

1. I wear slippers in the library when I study – I hate to wear socks, so I normally just wear flats and bare feet – that get’s cold – so thus the slippers, but no I don’t walk around in them
2. I’ve been a red head so long there are plenty of people who believe it my natural colour – actually I’m L’Oreal Copper blond
3. My favourite yoga pose for is actually standing, half-bound lotus
4. I love to run and can now after 2 years of rehab
5. I have an obsession with stiletto heels – note 4 – I had to give them up… and no Leaha you can’t have them
6. I wish I could sing
7. I’ve sung in public, 6 separate times – note 6 – thankfully at least it was in Russia and in Russian.
8. My only trips out of North America have been to Russia
9. I’ve spent 4 days on a Greyhound bus – Vancouver to Abilene
10. I’ve spent 4 days on a train – San Antonio to Vancouver
11. I’ve been to Vegas for the pool and sun only
12. I’m inked
13. I want more ink
14. Haven’t broken any bones
15. I have IBS
16. I love water – I hate rain
17. Fears: Heights, Spiders and possibly bovine?
18. I cook but I want to marry someone who can – I need a break
19. I don’t want to change my name – we’ve had this discussion
20. I’ve fainted once – after I decided to cut my finger across the nail
21. I played floor hockey in high school – right defence
22. I’m a pacifist – so while I may look like I’m prepared to take you on… it’s all about the bark.
23. I love my kids – not for their wonderful behaviour but because they taught me how to do stand-up
24. I’ve mastered the art of combining self debasing humour and teaching
25. I have a child – a furry, four legged one named Max
26. My brother’s opinion matters more than my parents
27. Some days I wish I could cry like the kids in the clinic – free and inhibited and then I remember they’re 18months old and I’m 25

29. I can beat you at ROOK – the one thing my father taught me, we may be Mennonites but when it comes to ROOK there is no pacifism.
30. I can’t and don’t drive and have no intention in learning
31. Dirty Dancing is my go to chick flick – Pride and Prejudice is close behind… but I am a sucker for the dancing – maybe because that’s repressed as we all know what dancing leads to, right?
32. I’ve got my future kids names picked out and I don’t know if I even want kids
33. I want a big family (4 or 6) – but see 32 – it’s an all or nothing thing
34. I don’t like marigolds or daisies
35. Peonies are my favourites
36. If I was going to eat an animal product it would be sushi
37. I’ve kissed only one boy – and I regret it – about as much as not kissing another one – well missed my chance on that one a long time ago. Yes, Joel I do mean you

39. I’ve had two roommates – two very different people: Steve and Leaha

52. I scare people in the library according to Leaha – it’s the evil glare

55. I’m a feminist but a hard core romantic – how does that work?
56. I have no clue what I want to be when I get out of university and so I stay in school
57. I had braces as a child
58. I had my wisdom teeth taken out
59. I’ve been published – more specifically 3 poems
60. I like cream of wheat
61. Deception Pass is my favourite place on Earth – thus far
62. I want to see India – but worry I’m not cut out for it
63. I’m pretty sure I’m suppose to stay single – despite the ebbing of that feeling at times – maybe because I’m selfish – I like my life the way it is and the older the more I feel that way.
64. I’m a Gemini – simply put I’m dualistic – I’m one and I’m the other…
65. I’m Cheryl’s Maid of Honor and some days I wonder what I signed on for…
66. If I had to pick a top TV shows to watch alone – Sex in the City and Buffy
67. If I had to pick a top TV shows to watch at my parent’s house – Grey’s
68. I don’t have a TV – but I have wireless – thus the obsession – the laptop is never more than an arm’s length away
69. I moved further away from school than before – yes my parents live closer
70. I was one of the private school kids – uniform and all – thankfully for just grades 11 and 12
71. My 10 year reunion is in like 2 ½ years and I’m worried – at least I’ll have Sara for support – but by then she’ll be a doctor and me – a writer? hmmm
72. I love sleep and my bed
73. Regardless of 63 – I have a thing for older men – to my detriment, though that hasn't stopped me yet
74. I hate the heat – Spring and Fall are fine with me
75. I walk lots of public places barefoot – note 5
76. I do not believe in love at first sight – though BMMWH could change that
77. I finally removed my ex from my MSN – but I have yet to block him from searching me on Facebook
78. I’ve been at SFU 8 years on and off – I miss my English classes/degree
79. I have a Gerontology minor – what can I do with that? According to the department nothing – I need a professional degree…
80. If I was on a desert island and could bring 3 things – chocolate, coffee and an IPod – only if I could hook it up to some kind of solar power recharge thing…
81 I’ve been drunk to the point of illness once – my 21 birthday – good times because surprisingly I remember most of the night
82 The only time I’ve been successfully hit on was Rob – 2001, train from LA to San Francisco – so successful I still have his number on a napkin somewhere
83. It is my goal to convert as many as I can to veganism through my cooking
84. I believe there are greater foods to be afraid of than tofu – like chicken kidneys/livers…
85. I know that Fanta can sustain you better than bottled water in a foreign country
86. I’m a fall fast and hard kind of girl
87. I have a crush on our barista boy Kellen – it’s his man-hair
88. I wanted to be a nurse while I was growing up until I figured out that girls can be doctors
89. I sucked the MCAT big time
90. Regular Starbucks order – Grande Soy Vanilla Americano Misto or tea when Kellen’s around
91. I hate my Kinesiology minor
92. I almost had a Chemistry minor with my English degree
93. I’ve failed Math 151, History 2—and I think that’s it – couple of D’s in there though
94. Organic chemistry is awesome – you have no idea – HNMR’s, aldehydes and all that jazz
95. I believe reflux condensers are here on this Earth only to bring me to tears.
96. I’m a perpetual pseudo dater who loathes commitment - has nightmares about being married... seriously
97. Despite being a ardent pacifist, I have shot a hunting riffle
98. I procrastinate – I hate it and love it
99. I’m addicted to blogging and reading other’s blogs
100. I can’t skate or ski
101. I can't text message - sad but true, so don't send them to me... (happy Cheryl - I replaced it)

101 is a lot of things...6 months or so ago I found buffy seasons 1 and 3 used cheap. (I hadn't really watched it before.) So I started with season 1 and ended up watching all 7 seasons. Great fiction. I'm a fan.

you're a BLONDE? i thought maybe brunette-ish. like....darker blond...hmm. what does blonde really mean when you're in your mid twenties....on most people after age 6 it's a bit of a greyish color.

are there used bookstores that involve independent coffee shops? cuz that would be SO much better than starbucks in chapters

My "101 Things About Me" blog was the BEST procrastination blog I have written yet (that was in my other blog that I deleted though). And I inspired like 3 people (or more) to write one too. I wonder if Louie Lou will write one....

24. Ya for the kids - it's the only way to get a story across - make fun of yourself
