3 Cookies later

I still have a tummy ache, or more so I've got a combined sugar rush and anxious stomach cramp. Can't say though I would have avoided the chocolate though, and really I was just doing my roommate duty and providing my LeeLee with sugar, chocolate and in addition I provided her with a variety of musical options for her driving cd. However, one has started an issue here - Griffin House's Rembrandt ad/song - now for those of you who haven't seen it and may be remotely sentimental at this moment or anything along those lines don't play it - you have been warned, also while we are at it don't listen to John Mayer's "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room." Why the odd music selection? Leaha asked about the name of the John Mayer song I posted a while back and now we are listening to the live version at Webster Hall - while Leaha swears she'll never survive another breakup, and I say who cares about the lyrics - while they are great, the song surprisingly makes me want to dance. Yes, I am a Mennonite girl, but deep down I think we (Menno girls) have some kind of rhythm or something along those lines. And the Rembrandt song? Well I found Griffin House's MySpace page a long time ago and had it bookmarked and offered it to Leaha. But being relatively sane the music must end or I will go completely emotionally sideways in ways I would rather not consider. I'm off to let some hot water clear my brain and hopefully aid in a good night's sleep.

Hmmmm...Slow dancing, Damien Rice's "The Blowers Daugter," I am getting ideas. I hope your sleep quality was better last night. I wish there was some advice to give you, on how to get a better night of sleep, other than Ambien.

Time - surprisingly simple - the more time I have to sleep the better I do - because it also reduces the oh good grief it's 12 and I have to be up in under 6 hours, and I can't determine if I've been awake for the last two hours or a sleep and it sure doesn't feel like it or whathaveyou. So it seems if I can give myself the option of 8 to 10hrs it respects me enough to let me have at least 6...

As to Damien - I think John's got him just slightly edged out, though Ray is equal to John, but really Edwina Hayes cover of Feels like Home is also wonderful too.

Time huh? I guess the only suggestion then would be to address whatever/whoever it is that is keeping you up late at night. I am kind of having the same experience now, all be it I am blessed with only needing 6 hours of sleep and it being aided by the help of Ambien, I am sure the cause of my late nights is well worth it and by all means it reminds me of why I am tired the next day. being reminded of why I am tired is kind of pointless at the moment as I am very aware of what is causing the mental distraction in my life right now. A distraction that is only described as beautiful.

Well it sounds like life is just peachy for you. I know what you mean about the tiredness being worth it though. I debated responding to your comment because to be honest I don't like looking at my blog right now and I blame that on Leaha. She wanted me to post that video, and now all I see is that, bah. I guess I could just post again - got any good topics stored up in your mind now that you aren't blogging?
